Reunion

Mike and Keisuke were here for a meeting on Fri/Sat, so we all got together. First at mom's house where the kids were all over them, then the 'grown-ups' went out for Italian. We love Baci when we're craving italian food. The new location will open August 11th on Germann and Ellsworth...

Not enough has been said about 'mom' so I will take this time to fill you all in on how wonderful mom really is. As busy as she is working at the temple, she takes time out to babysit grandchildren, have sleepovers with the birthday child which is a coveted event, attends any/all functions involving grandchildren that she can, and even makes cakes for church functions that she may not be attending! Truly, mom is a wonderful woman who deserves to be cheered for all that she strives to do. She is gracious enough to allow anyone into her home at any time, where we feel the spirit of love so strong. Thank you mom.

Sunday Get Together

Since we had been gone so long, Cara invited us all over for a dessert get together....

The kids played Wii.

Us ladies ate cookies and gabbed

Elena and Tom joked and kidded around.

Jacob entertained us at the piano.

And I saved Cassidy's and Slade's butt by fixing the closet door.....

We had a great time! We didn't want to leave, but could tell we had worn out our welcome when Tom and Cara said that they needed to get to bed 'so leave already!'
