Swim Party

Thanks to Ammon, we got to go swimming at his Sunday school teacher's parents' pool. These are the pics. Benjamin loved the cliff and the rope swing.

Nephi on the rope swing and Jacob about to dive off the cliff.
Nephi and Jacob climbed the rope to the top, rang the bell, and made their way down, except Nephi decided to give in to the peer pressure to jump into the pool. Unfortunately, he led with his chest and ..... yep!! He was sore and red for a day!

Nephi close up on the right and then 18 feet in the air...

Joseph is being given a swim lesson while the others play.
As we were gathering ourselves to leave, I noticed that my black foamy flip flops were there. I couldn't remember wearing them, and saw the flip flops I had worn sitting on the side. So I was puzzled how these shoes came to be there..... I assumed it was Sariah, but alas, she had different flip flops on too.... turned out that Jacob, not having any flip flops (what kind of a mom am I!!) had grabbed my flip flops just to be comfortable... cute feet, huh?☺

Sunny Arizona

Getting back into the swing of things was not easy..... We got back at 5am and had to get ready for church at 11am. Gary was dragging since he drove most of the way... but I was the one that dodged the deer in Heber - that woke me up!

Samuel looking adorable.
We went swimming on Monday at Hamilton - not quite like Trenton pool since it looked like a crowded beach.... Jacob tried hard to get my attention doing spins and stuff. Samuel loved the water and was being adored by many... even strangers.

Sariah with church friends smothering Samuel.

Sariah lovin' up Samuel.

Joseph sure makes a splash.

Missouri Thursday

Today, since the big boys were gone to wrestling camp, we took the little ones, and the girls, swimming at the Gallatin pool. Well, it was a shocker for my kids - the pool was as big as the Beaudette's, with a diving board and a life guard.... I was reminded of Australia once again... with the cold water and overcast weather... I was rather shocked by the cost - $18!! We were there for only a mere 40 min. since a storm was brewing .....
Brotherly love.

They all had lots of fun, until the black clouds came rushing in... then we rushed out. The water was freezing - I'm sure our Arizona friend and family are envious of that - and the pool was still pretty crowded and expensive.
Ammon loves slides. Wheeeeeeee!!

Everyone was freezing - especially those from Arizona- did not want to go in!

All the kids sticking close since the water was cold and the storm was comin'

The rains came down again, and so I decided to make pizza for dinner tonight. We'll see how it goes...
